Crazy_About_Guitars

This Site Is For The Semi-Pro/WeekEnd Warrior/Hobbyist/Collector

This site is for  Semipro / Weekend Warrior / Hobbyist / Collectors. I want to give out information and hidden tricks I have learned in the past forty-five years of playing guitar. Due to rough economic times I cannot afford to go out and buy a five thousand dollar guitar. This site is about going on the cheap and if possible free. If you are going to blow five grand {more or less} I will try to point you to guitars that keep their value. If not increase in value with age.
I want feed back from you and others about what I have explained above This site is our site. For the common folk. This site is about "all" guitars and guitarist's.   I hope to make this grow into one hell of a helpful website. This cannot happen without the input of "You."  Also, I am not an English Major. I am a guitarist. Sometimes my spelling or how I put my sentences together is not the best. I hope you can understand this short coming of mine. So, tell your musician friends about this site. I see this site becoming some sort of answer to the big manufactures of what we--the little guy -- think and need. "And" it's about time!

"Also" as I said this site is for US! If you have any pictures or comments or helpful advise Put it on here! If you have a question? No question is too stupid! Put it on here! That's how we learned. Any pictures should be of a unique guitar or effect or something our readers would find "Impressive" or out of the ordinary. Put it on here!

I have recently aligned myself and this site with another nonprofit organization that I back one hundred per cent www.guitarsforvets.org/home.html
This is for donating guitars for wounded veterans. If you are into guitars this is a good-honest program. Look into this. I have supplied a link on the links page. I can't remember how many times my guitar was my bartender/ best friend/analyst/etc.
My point is "One Good Turn" -- www.guitarsforvets.org/home.html

We are getting a lot of international hits/people looking at this site. I am a firm believer that as an American I am only seeing part of the story. If anyone from another country would like to contact me and give their point of view. I would be delighted to hear from you. I am sure the stories and what is going on in your neighborhood is of interest to all of us. The love of Music & Guitar knows no geographic boundary or religious or political beliefs. I am always open to new ideas or a point of view that can help my understanding of music or the world in general.--S.C.

I started this site Nov. 26, 2008. As of Christmas Day Dec. 25, 2008
this site had 2,468 hits the first month. Over Three-Thousand January 09 and 60 members. Just one month Times 12 months is 29,616 hits.
As of March 21 of 2009 the site has had over Ten-Thousand hits. In July 09 Five thousand in one month.
The guitar industry has to take note of this!
This shows we are gaining momentum. I suggest
that they get a hold of us! Work with us. Talk to us. I think we (the common folks) are tired of being ignored by them. It is truly insulting to a person that collects guitars
or the person that waited through their childhood to own a "Good" Guitar.
That is why I started this platform for "US"!

I have not regretted one-second of starting this site. In fact I wish I had done this years ago. This is in thanks to all the readers and members whom have told me to keep up the good work.

I will not let these people down!

One more thing--I look at this site several times a day. Some articles are getting older but still relevant. I am in the middle of testing products right now. Any products sent to me (rare) means this company want's your business. They have read the site and have no problem with my honesty on a review.  I usually have to buy products for review. My opinion on products will always be honest.
