HI! I'm a 53 yr old, southern rock and blues player, own several (the wife sez too damn many) guitars, NONE of them gibsons, I do have one Epi...'56 gold top, made in Korea!, I think... Carvin guitars suck...Gibsons are a rip off...and my '74 Fender American made Strat. ROCKS!...I have Family in both Memphis and Nashville, have been to both factories, and all they do,as far as I can tell, with the Les Pauls in either factory is set up and pack and ship...where they are made (with exception of the customs & Supremes) is anybodies guess, probably Taiwan, so I ain't payin' 2 or 3 thousand dollars for a product made by someone making a buck an hour in a sweat shop...SAME goes for tube amps...7-8 hundred dollars for an amp-15 watts-made in China? Kiss MY ass!...HEY, let's bail out some more rich people! OK enough bitchin'... I've been playin since I was 10, started out on an old Harmony, made in the USA bought @ Pep Boys by my Mom, as a B-day present...GOD BLESS HER!!... I've been ruined ever since! How Rude of C**vin to have told you they would sue...send me another catalog...I've run outta stuff to pick up dog S++T with...Hey everyone else in the US is having thier products made in China...why NOT buy a bootleg for 300 bucks?...can't be any worse than the original...made God knows where, for 2 or 3 grand
